Wuhan University of Technology, established in 2000, stands as one of the world’s premier institutions, actively participating in this initiative to enroll graduate students for Master’s and Ph.D. programs from various corners of the globe. In 2008, the university secured the 39th position in Wu Shulian’s university ranking, and 2013, it achieved the 58th spot in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for Asian Universities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following criteria to apply for the Wuhan University Scholarship 2024 for International Students:

Citizenship of countries other than China
Good health
Maximum age limit of 35 years for Master’s degree applicants with a Bachelor’s degree
Maximum age limit of 40 years for Ph.D. degree applicants with a Master’s degree
HSK certificate score of 4 or greater for science and engineering programs, and a score of 5 or greater for liberal arts and medical programs
Chinese language training courses required for students not meeting the required level of Chinese language
English proficiency certificate (TOEFL minimum score of 80 or IELTS minimum score of 6) for applicants in English medium programs
Exemption from English proficiency certificate for native English-speaking students
Not applicable to students already studying in China
Not applicable to students applying for programs in their native language or third-country native languages such as English or French
Not applicable to students receiving any other scholarship
Priority is given to students with academic achievements ranked by reference papers under the same conditions
