Application Procedure for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme
Before December 1, 2023, eligible applicants must submit an online Initial Application via the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme Electronic System (HKPFSES) in order to get an HKPFS Reference Number. Prior to submitting an application for admission to their chosen PhD programs, this should be completed.
STEP 1: Submit the initial application to the Research Grants Council starting September 1, 2023, at 12:00 noon Hong Kong time.
STEP 2: Using their HKPFS Reference Number, candidates should send complete applications for their selected PhD programs to the suggested universities after completing the initial application. Specific institutions and PhD programs provide details on program specifics, entrance requirements, application processes, rules, and policies.
