USTC International Scholarship Benefits
The USTC International Scholarship for 2024-25 in China provides full financial support for all admitted students, including:

To apply for the USTC International Scholarship, applicants must upload the following documents in the online application system:
- Online Application form for USTC Scholarship with a signature and recent photo.
- Photocopy of Passport
- A Research proposal is compulsory.
- Updated CV/Resume
- Two Recommendation Letters
- Photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
- Degree Certificate and Academic Transcript for both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees (if available).
- Proof of Language Proficiency from the last institute
- Police certificate (no criminal record)
- A motivational Letter or statement of purpose
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the USTC International Scholarship for the academic year 2024-25 in China:
- The applicant must be a non-Chinese national in good health and should not currently be studying in China.
- Applicants for Bachelor’s Degree Studies must have a high school diploma (equivalent to a Chinese high school diploma), an HSK5 certificate, and be under the age of 30 by September 1st, 2024.
- Applicants applying for a Master’s Degree must have a Bachelor’s Degree and be under 35 years old by September 1st, 2024.
- Applicants applying for a Doctoral Degree must have a Master’s Degree and be under 40 years old by September 1st, 2024.
- Graduates expecting to complete their degrees in 2024 should submit a Pre-graduation Certificate to ensure they will complete their studies and obtain the degree by July 2024.
Application Deadline
The application deadline for the University of Science and Technology of China Scholarships for the academic year 2024-25 is March 31, 2024, for bachelor’s degrees and February 15, 2024, for master’s and Ph.D. degrees.
