Eligibility Requirements at Asian Institute of Technology

To be eligible for Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Scholarships in Thailand, candidates should meet the following criteria:

For Master’s Degree Program:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or higher at the bachelor’s level
  • English proficiency (e.g., AIT-EET:6, IELTS-Academic:6, TOEFL, etc.)
  • Be in good physical and mental health with a record of good behavior
  • In addition to the above criteria, candidates for Technical Master’s programs should have at least 3 years of relevant work experience and hold executive positions in companies or organizations.

For Ph.D. Programs:

  • Hold strong academic credentials with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from a reputable institution
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.50 or equivalent at the master’s level
  • English proficiency (IELTS certificate/English proficiency certificate)
  • Submit a research plan and two letters of recommendation
